George Terzian and his unique Cubist style of painting is highly regarded and his oils are
collected internationally. His subjects are presented as a symphony of various colors and
shapes. He began to draw and paint at the young age of fourteen. Inspired by the Post-
Impressionist school, his early works employed a plein air technique derived from the
areas near his family home, close to Marseilles.
Eventually Terzian moved to and settled in Paris in the 1960s where he was influenced
by Braques and Picasso. His own style of Post Cubism evolved, focussing entirely on
still life. Terzian has had many solo exhibitions in Paris and has received international
acclaim with strong presence in the NY, London and French art markets.
